Greetings to you all from the deep south. Alberto graduated from Colegio Biblico last night. We are thankful for these four years that he had to study God's Word here but we also breathe a sigh of relief that this part of our lives is finished. It is time to move on to the work that God has in store for us in the Dominican Republic. I know that Alberto is anxious to return to the DR and begin his ministry. These last four years have been hard for him because the need for ministers to do the work in the DR is so great that it has weighed heavily on his mind and at times almost caused him to quit school to return to reach people for Christ. But we know in the long run that it was better for Alberto to finish school so that he could be better equipped to teach others about Christ and to train others in the ministry.
We have a busy schedule planned for this summer. As soon as I finish teaching school we will be leaving to visit friends in Dallas and then on to Iowa to see family and friends there. We are looking forward to the opportunity to be the missionaries at VBS in Rochester, MN and will also be speaking in a few churches about the work in the DR. We leave on July 10 to fly to MD to visit my sister for a few days and then on July 14 we fly to the DR. I know that this summer is going to fly by.
We appreciate your support and prayers as we continue to get settled and set up our ministry here according to God's will.
