How do I Keep Informed? 
We just wanted to drop a note and
update you all on our exciting week here in Texas. Our little
girl decided that she would like to come 3 weeks early so on
March 11 at 2:30 p.m. Abigail Elisabet Rivas arrived in this
world. She was 6 lbs. 5.2 oz. and 17 1/4 inches long. Apparently
she is going to take after mom and dad in the height department.
Abigail is doing very well. So far
she has been a great baby. She changes everyday and is becoming
more alert each day. Grandma and Grandpa Lund were able to come
from Iowa and have been a such a big help. We give thanks to God
for this wonderful gift that He has given us.
Plans to go to the Dominican
Republic are moving forward. We have a house to rent that is near
Santiago Christian School where I will be teaching. It is within
walking distance which will be very convenient except maybe
during rainy season. Then it will be a nice muddy walk.
Alberto has been busy packing
things to send to the DR. We have some different groups who will
be going to the DR in the next few months that will be taking
some of our boxes down for us. God has really blessed us in
providing these groups for us. It helps us to save money and
still get necessary items to the DR.
