Phil & Sharon Eagling, Australia   Phil and Sharon owe nearly $5,000 in Australia taxes. That is bad, but worse yet, they don't have it. They need help.

At one point, they had the money but the trip to the US plus the move from Murwillumbah to Thornton sort of did terrible damage to that stash.

The church at Murwillumbah helped the Eaglings with their car payment and cost of running it some, and they helped the Eaglings in other ways when they could.

It is our aim to let this new church here provide more of our support when they are more financially able to do so, but at the moment this is not possible.

Dave & Suzie Snyder, Kenya   The Snyders family of four has gone to Afghanistan and returned safely. The trip was a memorable and a very positive experience for our girls, but from it we concluded that moving our entire family there for long-term service is not feasible at present... for 3 main reasons:
  1. We feel it is critical for us to "finish well" in the ministry in which we a recurrently involved here in Kenya before considering a move to another field.
  2. Secondly, the schooling options in Kabul are presently not adequate for our girls, and
  3. thirdly, we feel the region is still too insecure for families.

C.Y. Kim, China Vietnam North Korea   C.Y. Kim and Patricia are giving out a cup of soymilk to some 6,000 North Korean children daily. Our support and prayers for a Milk Delivery Truck made this possible.

A ten-ton truck of rice costs $2,500. Their hopes are to start with one truck a month beginning in March 2003.

Brad & Tammie Harvey, Tanzania   December 2002 -- You are one of the first people to receive a copy of the Christmas story in the Kaguru language. You cannot read it, but you can lift it up in praise before the Lord and give "glory to God in the highest" for His answer to the prayers of the Kaguru people and for the "good tidings of great joy" that is for all people, including the Kaguru people.

Alberto & Lynette Rivas, Dominican Republic   An opportunity has presented itself to purchase a lot across the street from the Rivas home. This would be an excellent church location. Of the $14,000 cost, donars have come forward for $11,500 of this leaving only $2,500 yet to be secured.

Please keep them in your prayers. See their Latest Newsletter or Read the On Line Bulletin Board for more....
AICM, American Indian Christian Mission, Arizona   You may be interested in their "Needs" web page http://www.aicm.org/help/needs.htm and be able to help. Unlike our International Missionaries where the cost of shipping is a real issue, AICM is in Arizona. Shipping is comparitvely CHEAP! And their needs? They are items your Small Group or Sunday School could put together easily.

Richard & Debbie Lee, Zimbabwe   Richard and Debbie Lee's LogoRichard and Debbie Lee have no reliable means to communicate with their supporters, and fear that they will lose support because of this. They are considering leasing an office about 40 miles away so they could once again communicate.

Does it seem like the Lees need a boat load of snail mail letters of encouragement? Write letters and write often. You may turn letters into the office for mailing if that is helpful.
