In Exodus, God tells Moses to lead his people out of Egypt. Moses, however, makes what excuses?
Doesn't this seem strange to you?

Jethro

Moses
Well, if this be true, then how come Moses didn't seem to remember or know the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, which is about Abraham and is written in Genesis 19?
God told Abraham he was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and 3 other cities. Abraham prayed to God and asked if there be 50 righteous people in Sodom, that they be spared. God granted this request.
Then Abraham prayed that God spare Sodom if there be 45 righteous people in Sodom. God allowed for this.
Then Abraham prayed the city be spared if there be 40 righteous people. God was very patient and conceded this too.
Abraham asked if God would allow 30, then 20 righteous people to be enough to spare Sodom. God went one better and said for the sake of 10 righteous people, He would not destroy the cites.
You know what? God didn't find even 1 righteous person in Sodom. Not one. Lot, Abraham's nephew was a sheep herder, but in stead of living in the country side with his flocks, he had moved to Sodom and was accepted there. Obviously, no one could tell he was any different than they were.
An angel of God told him to take his family and run to the hills because they were going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot just stood there. <grab the hand one of the kids on the front row and drag them across the room> So the angel grabbed him by the hand and led him to the edge of the city and told him again to make haste for the hills.
"Please don't make me run to the hills," Lot pleaded <fall to your knees, pretending the person you put into Lot's role, is now the angel>. "I'm a sprinter, not a cross country runner. Please let me go to -- Zoar instead. It is much closer."
The angel granted his request and off he went. <point the child back to their seat>
Now, my question to you is, for how many people was Sodom and Gomorrah to be spared?
10
How many people were spared after all?
Lot, his family, and the people of Zoar, which was one of the 5 cities, now 4, to be destroyed.
For the sake of how many Righteous people were Lot, his family, and the people of Zoar spared?
1 - just Abraham.
Moses knew the stories, but he failed to understand the lessons.
