Do you know what it means to be thankful?
Is being thankful something you have to think of on purpose or does it come natural?
Does anyone every remind you to say "Thank You"?
They should not have to, should they?
In Ephesians, Paul appreciates the support he gets from his them all the time. While they are praying for him daily, he also prays for the Ephesians.
Ephesians 1:16
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
We should remember those who care for us and be thankful for all the wonderful relationships we have everywhere. How many things can we remember to appreciate?
Today, after the offering tray has gone by, if you would like to write something on the board you appreciate, you can. In the meantime, while we are passing the bread of life, let's remember what God's sacrifice has provided for us - a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ, and let's be thankful.
