Communion Meditation for Young People

Colossians 4:2-3

During Thanksgiving we all gather with family and have more food than any 100 people could possibly eat and we have good fellowship. (Good fellowship means you play.)

If you indeed have Thanksgiving with your family, was there anyone missing who should have been there? Do you remember them now, as we speak of it of did you notice during the festivities?

Everyone has compassion and consideration for those with needs. However, it is most common for us NOT to notice someone who has needs. What good is our compassion if we don't notice people's needs?

Paul was a missionary in Bible Times. He asked for us to pray for him and for his work. Paul was imprisoned, shipwrecked, beaten, and eventually martyred for Christ.

Colossians 4:2-3

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

Who are our Missionaries who are away from home this Thanksgiving? How about remembering them and praying for them?
