Communion Meditation for Young People

1 Timothy 4:4-6 - Christmas Time

On Christmas we celebrate Jesus' birth. Jesus, born to this earth to teach us how to live for God. Jesus, who was destined to take our sins and pay the price for these sins. It was for this purpose God became man and came to us.

Consecrated Angels Praise and Honor God. 1 Timothy 4:
4
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5
because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6
If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

Let us resolve to all be as innocent as a new born baby. Let us resolve to be CONSECRATE our lives to God so everyone can see God in us. In this way, we can each and everyone be a minister for Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to be consecrated to the Lord?
  1. To declare or set apart as sacred: consecrate a church.
    b. To sanctify (bread and wine) for use in Communion.
  2. To dedicate solemnly to a service or goal. See Synonyms at devote.

Exodus 13:2 "Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal."

Numbers 7:1  When Moses finished setting up the tabernacle, he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings. He also anointed and consecrated the altar and all its utensils.

Exodus 30:29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.
