Brad & Tammie Harvey, Tanzania   Answer Phone
  • Our phones got fixed this weekend, so we are back on line!!! yeah!
    • However, we are a bit back logged now.
  • Tammie officially begin as the East Africa Branch Director May 1st.
    • As Branch Director, I have to attend a Director's Forum in Dallas May 21-24th.
    • People Groups needing the WORD During Pioneer Mission's Institute week we'll be recruiting as hard as we can for Tanzania.
  • Tammie will stop in Franklin Monday night, June 3rd & attend the Ladies Bible Study onTuesday morning before returning West.
  • Gina Hagaman is the new forwarding agent /communications person for things relating to Safina.
    • Working till 7 pm, they got the concrete floors laid in the 4 rooms in Mwita.
    • Child in an Outhouse A work group of young adults from Europe plan to help this summer. They have 10-20 young people who will also bring funds of $100 each to contribute to the construction. We hope this gets the 4 rooms to the stage where all that is needed is the rafters & tin roof to complete the 4 rooms.
    • The 4 rooms (& outhouse) is the first initial/urgent stage; but for Safina to expand at all & take in any more children, there is much yet to be done.
  • Please continue praying for the Dutch Compound sale.
    • We just rebid on 6 houses since the government nullified the first bids for $68,000.
    • We will have 20 days to come up with the money. We currently have about $26,000.

IDES International Disaster Emergency Fund   Franklin Christian Church supports IDES. Like any other Emergency Fund, IDES responds to Emergencies and Disasters all over the world - PLUS.

Child in Crib What is the PLUS?

IDES only provides moneys to Missionaries. In this way, Missionaries find doors opened which would other wise be closed to them - even in some closed countries. Also, the long term effect after the disaster keeps doors open and opens even more doors.

So, why would anyone give to a secular charity?
