Julie Cochran - Teacher @ Port-de-Paix, Haiti, for SonLight Ministries

Dear Friends

I recently visited SonLight Academy in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. It was an experience of a lifetime! While I was there, I felt God's call to missions. Therefore, I will be leaving in August to go and work for SonLight Ministries. I would like to ask for your consideration in helping to support me financially through this venture.

My role will be to serve as a teacher for SonLight Academy. The school is the children's educational portion of the ministry. It is an English immersion program what works to teach Biblical principals while providing an academic education for approximately 320 Haitian children.

This is a call and a challenge that I look forward to with much enthusiasm and excitement. God has clearly shown that His will is for me to be an active participant in this ministry. I look forward to using my experience as a teacher for the Franklin Special School District in this manner.

Any support that you are able to provide for me will be greatly appreciated and used to further the Kingdom of God.

In Christ,

Julie Cochran

About their Ministry

Haitian Children

SonLight Ministries exists to reach and train Haitian people to reach and train others for the kingdom of God by effectively communicating the gospel through lifestyle and words.

SonLight Ministries exists to change the spiritual state of Haiti's people, and consequently, its economic and political states. We believe that the physical states. We believe that the physical state of this poor country can only be affected by drastic change in its spiritual state.

It is the poorest country in the world. None of these, however, is the gravest problem Haiti faces. Haiti needs Jesus. We have come to give Haiti the call the Apostle Peter says is for all Christians, the call out of darkness into His wonderful light, the light of His Son.
