Thank You from Murwillumbah, Australia

21st December 2000 Greetings to you lovely people in the Name of Our Lord Christ from the fellowship here at Murwillumbah in Australia.

I wish to pass on to you our feelings of thanks and gratitude for the wonderful gift you have sent us in the form of Pastor Philip & Sharon Eagling, along with little Savannah. They have been a real blessing to us all and we thank God for their ministry always. For many years this fellowship has been blessed by our Lord as we have been able to support His workers both here in Australia and throughout the world and then to find ourselves on the receiving end of such support has been a humbling experience for us.

Murwillumbah is a small town of about 7,000 people situated about 15 miles in from the coast and about 35 miles north of the most easterly point in Australia, Byron Bay. That makes us about 600 miles north of Sydney. Our climate here is Sub Tropical with between 60 to 100 inches of rainfall per year, snow is nonexistent and only about half a dozen frosts per year. We are mainly an agricultural community growing bananas, sugar cane, avocados, small crops such as tomatoes and sweet potatoes along with dairy and beef cattle. Murwillumbah also has a growing tourism economy as we are only 2 hours drive from Brisbane and are surrounded by World Heritage listed National Parks. If anyone is looking for the bright lights and night clubs then we are only 20 minutes away from the Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise.

If any of you are ever over in this wonderful part of God's Kingdom then please drop on in and spend some time with us, we would be blessed by your company.

Once again thank you so much for your wonderful gift to us and we pray that our Lord will bless you all greatly.
