Beth with the Autoharp

Beth Dierkes plays the autoharp for Jordan's Angels, which she began playing when the trio formed. She grew up in Hamilton, Illinois, where she lived with her mother, brother and aunt. One of her best childhood memories is harmonizing with her mother to songs on the radio.

When she was in high school, there weren't many guys in the school chorus, so she often sang the tenor part. After high school, she married Dan Faber and settled in Keokuk, Iowa, (just across the Mississippi River). In 1985, Dan died from cancer, leaving her with 3 small children.

The following year, she met and married Tom Dierkes, then, in 1991, Tom's job required them to move to the Nashville area. They located in Brentwood, and immediately became involved with the ministry of Franklin Christian Church. Within 2 years of moving, she lost both her parents to cancer.

It is her faith in God combined with the wonderful gift of music that gives her comfort and the strength to carry on. When she sings, she sings for God and for His glory.
