The Nebo Christian Church was founded in 1834 near Nebo, Kentucky. In the foyer there is a communion cup that is in a glass display that was used in the church in 1834 to serve communion to the congregants who formed the church. In 1967 the current building was constructed and Nebo Christian Church moved to downtown Nebo. Some of our elderly members have been coming to Nebo Christian Church their whole lives. The church currently averages 30 for Sunday services, and is growing. The church enjoys a rich heritage of some 172 years of worship and service to God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Nebo 2001 teamThe Nebo Christian Church Bible Team members have a long history of Bible Bowl competition. In August 1998 Daniel, Katheryne and Jackie started in Junior Bible Bowl competing with Franklin Christian Church, First Christian Church of Linden, TN, and Eastwin Christian Church of Memphis, TN. Katheryne and Jackie were in 3rd Grade and Daniel was a 4th grader at that time. They competed with 4 other kids and within one year of starting in Bible Bowl, they all (7) had dedicated themselves to Christ and were baptized. In 2001, Jackie, Katheryne and Jennifer won 1st place in the Junior Bible Bowl tournament.
